Our website includes embedded forms powered by Dubsado, a secure third-party client management platform. By submitting a form, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information and understand that submission does not guarantee availability or create a client relationship.
A client relationship is not established until:
- A proposal is accepted
- A contract is signed
- A required deposit is received
Services & Deliverables
Samwise Studio provides custom and semi-custom design services, including but not limited to invitations, paper goods, event stationery, and related design services.
Specific services, timelines, pricing, deliverables, and revision allowances are outlined in individual proposals and contracts delivered through Dubsado. These documents supersede any general information provided on this website.
Payments & Deposits
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve services and secure dates.
Remaining balances must be paid according to the schedule outlined in your contract or invoice.
Late payments may result in paused work, delayed delivery, or project cancellation.
Full payment terms are detailed in your individual Dubsado contract.
Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our work:
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Payments for completed work, approved designs, or printed items are non-refundable.
- Cancellation policies and any applicable fees are outlined in your signed contract.
Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
All original designs, concepts, artwork, illustrations, and files created by Samwise Studio remain our intellectual property until full payment has been received.
Upon full payment, clients receive a limited, non-transferable license to use final deliverables for their intended personal or event-related purposes. Designs may not be resold, redistributed, altered for resale, or used commercially without written permission.
Samwise Studio retains the right to display completed work in portfolios, on our website, and on social media for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Stock Images, Fonts & Licensed Assets
Samwise Studio may incorporate stock photography, open-source assets, licensed fonts, textures, mockups, or other third-party materials into designs when appropriate.
All third-party assets remain the property of their respective creators and are governed by their individual licensing agreements. Client usage rights are limited to what is permitted under the original license and apply only to the final delivered design.
Clients may not extract, reuse, resell, or redistribute licensed assets separately from the final design without obtaining proper licensing.
If extended, commercial, or exclusive licenses are required, any associated fees will be disclosed in advance and billed separately.
Revisions & Approvals
Projects include a defined number of revisions as outlined in your proposal or contract. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional fees.
Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing all designs for accuracy. Samwise Studio is not responsible for errors—including spelling, grammar, or dates—once final approval has been provided.
Third-Party Vendors & Production
Samwise Studio may coordinate with or recommend third-party vendors, such as printers or production partners. We are not responsible for errors, delays, or outcomes caused by third-party vendors once final approval has been granted and files or materials have been released.
Limitation of Liability
Samwise Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the services provided.

We strive to ensure all website content is accurate and current but do not guarantee the absence of errors or omissions. Content may be updated or modified at any time without notice.
Governing Law
These Terms & Services are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
